please tell me where your most relatable muses' last name comes from!
i feel dumb, so i am going to assume you mean most relatable to me? in which there are three muses that come to mind.
firstly, pennyshore robertson, which is two fold. i actually have a cousin, she is two, and her first name is penny, and middle name is shore. but i have never met her, so i always thought her name was penny lane, not shore. so i used pennyshore as a full name. and then i discovered my mistake, but i loved the name so much i just kept it. she doesn't go by her whole name obviously. robertson is the last name of a boy who i used to play dnd with and who i had a huge crush on for like, a month.
grey fairfax (i am doing first names too i guess?) named for the harvest moon friends of mineral town, though his name is spelled gray. as for fairfax, this is the lamest thing about me, but i collect jane eyre novels and edward fairfax rochester is my mr. darcy, so. and lastly, we have miss melanie blake, who is named for a family friend, mel, whose name i have been obsessed with since i was a small child. and her last name is actully the middle name of one of my nieces, which i hated when she was born, but only because i like it better as a last name. my uncle who i have never met is also named blake as a first name and i want to cry about it sometimes.
