7 - Jule ♥

They had waited & planned & waited & planned for the perfect anniversary vacation, just the two of them. As they walked the historic streets, Jude had to stop to admire every bit of the beauty. It was their last full day in Shang Simla so they’d plan to see the town firsthand. 

Cole pointed & turned, trying to show his husband the intricate statue before them. To his surprise, his eyes only met with the crowd of strangers surrounding him, other tourists in their quest for their own perfect vacations. Pulling his phone from his pocket, he quickly pulled up his husband’s number. As it started to ring in his ear, he felt a buzzing at his side. He’d forgotten, Jude had slipped his phone into his coat earlier that day. His heart started to race as he wondered if he should make his way back to the hotel or look for his lost love.

Suddenly, two thin arms wrapped around his shoulders as he felt a pair of soft lips kiss his cheek. “I told you to wait,” Jude whispered playfully.

“I thought..” Cole breathed, turning quickly.

“What?”

"I almost lost you," he smiled in relief.

“Never.”

That is seriously so unacceptable. :( I'm sorry you experienced that. There are so many creeps out there. I'm glad you thought to keep your Mum on the phone for it!

Tell me about it. :( Definitely wasn't on the agenda for today. All I wanted was to see some graves of significant cultural peeps; Wilde, Moliere, Piaf etc and get some pictures. I think I'll go back when it's not getting dark and with company. Seriously so shaken up by it, it's the least safe I've felt around another person in my life. :/

And yeah, i'm just glad I had enough credit on my phone to phone her and ask if she could call me back. I think she thought I was calling for a chat about my trip but no!
