Okay, y'all. My inbox has been blowing up since Wednesday, so I'm now trying to get through all of the Asks/Anons you folks have sent my way.

(And I appreciate that you've sent them! I'm so glad that people have felt comfortable reaching out and sharing their thoughts regarding the finale. I have a lot of thoughts and feelings, too, and I look forward to sharing them now that I've processed things a bit more.)

But yes, Professor Anthony Crowley is absolutely adorable and very much not beating the twink allegations, for sure...

I think what I love about him most is just how completely he lights up opposite Asa/Aziraphale. It's the perfect embodiment of looking younger around someone you love, how the years just fall off because something in you automatically feels lighter.

I have a few other Anons regarding the proximity of Anthony to David (in terms of both styling choice and personality), so I'll save the bulk of my thoughts for there, but I truly did love seeing this middle-aged gay cutie patootie on my screen...

I managed to get a picture of the stray I mentioned before! He was hiding in a pipe, poor little guy. @l00n3y-lynn Do you have any clue what his breed is? I tried researching for white cybertronians, but there's just so many different types, it's so overwhelming... Whatever he is, he's really cute! And he has such pretty eyes :0!

So that was that, I think Toby was the most fun to design since I was able to base him off the swamp trolls which I don’t know how to spell but wasn’t restricted to the design like Jim cause we’ve seen him as half trolll and then big troll.

You’re one of few people who I see consistently (text) post about Rekrap. What’s your opinion on his usual characterization from the fandom and/or the fandom’s common perception of him?

this is a difficult question for me to answer, not because i don’t have very strong opinions— believe me, i do— but because i have a 1.5k draft about basically this exact thing, so i’m keeping this brief, especially since the others will probably give longer answers. i highly dislike both.

when people say they like rek, it’s not meant in the same way as for other lifestealers, and the vast majority of his fans neither critically think about him nor critically consume his content. this means that people don’t actually understand his character or even have a character to “give him”. in an attempt at having a character that’s more than just a blank slate, everybody then either 1. latches onto the first misconception of a “character trait” they can push onto him, which in his case is his “paranoia”— i talk about this more here; 2. takes the surface-level view of him as a person as nothing more than always nice, wholesome, and innocent, and conflates it with the character of him on lifesteal (because rek does have a character on lifesteal, regardless of its intentionality); or 3. both.

in other words, his characterization is derived from a singular (incorrect) trait of his from 3 years ago and a shallow idea of him as a person, whether that be of him in real life or on lifesteal. and i’m not going to talk too much about his perception for a similar reason, but it’s just of a person who is the staple, normal, endlessly-wholesome “nice guy” who can never have a single less positive thought or trait. like mage said, it’s just woobifying him.

i’ve been thinking about an au where loki meets vision and how he would react to seeing the mind stone just hanging out in/on? his forehead

one scenario i can see happening is loki is weirded out and interrogates vision on the rhinestone stuck in his forehead and how everyone is just cool with it being out in the open like that i made it sound weird idk

or maybe he freaks out because he knows thanos wants it and the whole point of him going to earth with thor was for safe haven and stability but that’s gone now because thanos is eventually going to come after the stone and loki.. honestly this one seems more probable idk why i even wrote the first one
