The armor is apparently an extension of their youki, Myoga did mention this is his “truest form” released of all magics that provide illusion. I’d hazard a guess in saying this is less his body and more his spirit. Just a guess though.

this always confused me too, but I kinda imagine him having three forms: Human, Dog, and this weird in-between thing we see here which I think is something like the anthropomorphic Panther Demon master from that one filler arc.

I really like these theories! I love the idea that it might be a manifestation of his spirit more than his actual bones, because his grave is in the afterlife, so in another plane/world/dimension that he couldn’t really access prior being dead (even though there are so ways to get there without dying, so this messes things up a bit...)

Hook & Rumplesatan I look at like this, they are unabashedly evil, they’re not ‘good’, not in the least (from my view), they consistently deceive, antagonise etcetera, for both it frankly makes sense, and as a writer, villain-protags are rare.

Rumple doesn't even really try, so yeah...I just don't know. I used to root for him but now I can't. I think he's interesting but I don't like Rumbelle and I don't see him as some guy whose trying to be good.

Hook literally hasn't changed at all. He just kinda...switched obsessions.

Aye, they were, and indeed they are guilty of equal (probably in Rumplesatan’s case worse) depravity on varying levels of character (as in morality). Can they redeem themselves? Sure, just not with these writers.

Mm hmm, Hook's redemption arc was non existent and with Rumple it's like 2 steps forward 8 back. I'm not even sure if they're trying to redeem him?

Then idk what they're doing with Regina. It depends on 4A I guess, I think she'll be progressive though(think).
