Honestly, Rhys was glad to be back at work. Too much time on their hands always meant Rhys’s mind went wondering to all the dark, not fun places they always trying to avoid. It had been nice to spend more time with Krishan, especially since neither of them seemed to be taking Cesare’s death particularly well, but that was about the only upside. Being behind the bar at Absinthe was being home. And if they had an excuse to wear a fabulous outfit and rock some amazing boots that it was criminal you couldn’t see behind the bar, then all the better. Business was starting to pick up and they were only a few Gatsby orders away from Rhys needed to take over and work the place by themselves, but Rhys lived for this anyway. “Welcome to Absinthe, what can I get for you tonight? Can I interest you in one of our specialty cocktails?” they asked, gesturing to the special menu with a flourish.
