I fucking love film school. Like, what do you mean that as a first year I've somehow networked my way into second chair of art and props department, and now I'm part of the PUPPET MAKING COMMITTEE. WHEREIN I WILL MAKE THE PUPPETS, FOR THE PUPPET FILM.

#did I manage to get this position by securing a scenic design/production role and then continuing to hype up my art skills to the director?#absofuckinglutely.#BUT I DID NOT EXPECT TO BE THIS SUCCESSFUL IN DOING SO!#I AM GENUINELY NOW GETTING GRADED FOR ONE OF MY CLASSES SIMPLY TO TURN UP FOR THIS PRODUCTION AND BUILD PUPPETS AND OTHER SUCH ART DEPT #THINGS FOR THEM #THIS IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WORLD IMAGINABLE #would I have been able to have done this if I went to film school in the states? maybe? but I think it was easier here because everybody #already sees americans as loud and outgoing which somehow is letting me let myself be more outgoing than I genuinely see myself as being #like simply because if they already think its true then why not use it to my advantage to get roles with more power in the industry areas #I'm interested in and to just kinda get myself out there more. phenomenal ability to be able to have even if I only have it because of #international american stereotypes kinda coming to my aid like solely here
