Chapter 3: Absolute Earth (1)
Milky-way galaxy - space
A spaceship is escaping pirates when a meteoroid hits the ship.
"AAAHHH!!! What was that!!!" Aria grabs Evolet tightly as the black haired maid stays calm.
"We got hit by a meteoroid, it seems we escaped the pirates by going into an asteroid belt and couldn't dodge all the debris."Evolet explains calmly
"Isn't that really bad!?"Aria screeches.
"No, we are fine, though there is a chance we might need some repairs if it hit somewhere critical."Evolet continues her stoic explanation.
The ship's communication system turns on.
"I apologize but we have been hit by a meteoroid in our fuel tank we will probably run out of fuel before we can reach a planet, so I will have to do an emergency landing on a nearby planet." The pilot explains.
In an hour the two of them feel the crash.
The ship is in a bad state but everyone is alive.
Everyone in the ship gathers
"So, starting with the bad news, we are stranded here." The pilot says flatly.
"Please tell me there are good news and not worse news." The princess muttered.
"There is sadly both, the emergency beacon is intact so we will eventually be rescued, but we are probably not having a good first impression with this planet's inhabitants."
Some time earlier...
A cloaked figure walks down the market street, weaving through the crowds of people heading to buy food and groceries.
They stop by a fruit stand, noticing the owner is too busy with a client to notice them approach.
Their small white hands quickly snatch a few fruits, putting them inside a bag hidden under the cloak.
As the client and the owner strike a bargain the small cloaked figure puts out a few coins and grabs an apple.
The owner of the stand unaware of the thievery simply picks up the coins from the child.
The cloaked figure continues on their way stealing from a few more stands until they reach a car workshop.
A few knocks on the garage door until a voice comes from the other side "Were you followed?"
The cloaked figure leans in a bit closer to the door.
"No, who do you think I am?"her voice quite impassive as she answers.
"Just checking, the side door is gonna be unlocked by big sister Rowe."the voice on the other side said.
Nodding to herself the cloaked figure walks to the side door and knocks three times.
"Welcome back, Jen." Rowe opens the door.
"You know I hate that nickname, my name is Jeanne." Jeanne shoves the bag into Rowe's hands as she walks inside.
"Whoa, you got quite bold, that's enough to last us all until friday."Rowe mutters as she checks the full bag of fruits, vegetables and bread.
"Start making something for us to eat, I'm starving." Jeanne shouts from another room.
"Sure thing!"Rowe's tail swishes around as she skips to the kitchen.
They soon hear a huge crash nearby and both of them rush outside. "What was that!?"Rowe asks as they both look out the door.
"That direction is... the orphanage!"Jeanne says, as they look at the pillar of smoke rising in the distance.
"You go investigate, I'll make sure the kids don't get out!" Rowe orders as she rushes back inside.
"If there's any god out there please tell me that everyone is safe."Jeanne mutters as she rushes to the place where a spaceship crashed, her tail waving about as she tries to make herself run faster.
She sees a bunch of people surrounding the spaceship, and she breathes a sigh of relief when she sees that everyone from the orphanage is fine.
As she begins to head back to the auto shop, the ship's door opens.
And out of it walks a black haired and winged woman, she towers over everyone there seeming to be almost three meters tall.
No one can really understand the language she is talking in but Jeanne can tell that the woman is asking for help with her gestures.
Soon the cops come and make things worse as they treat her like a terrorist.
"Hey! Can't you tell that she's asking for help, there's probably wounded people inside whatever that is!"Jeanne shouts as the crowd of people support her.
Sure enough there were more people inside too wounded to move, the bird woman looks at the red foxy girl with appreciation and Jeanne can tell that she is thanking her in her language.
"No problem." Jeanne runs away from the crowd before anyone recognizes her.
"What took you so long? I was starting to get worried" Jeanne meets Rowe about to leave the auto shop.
"Well what I can only assume is a spaceship crashed into the orphanage and attracted a big crowd, it was hard to weave through them to make sure everyone was safe."Jeanne says, making a bad lie that Rowe buys.
"So long as you are safe."Rowe said as thet both walk inside and eat something.
