I was rewatching Jurassic World Rebirth last night to cheer me up from the third hobbit movie (the opening scene of Rebirth is the best in the movie: cinematography wise AND acting wise). But it has given me headcanons.
Bilbo would be rooting for the dinosaurs to eat the dumb characters or just characters he doesn’t like. He would be avid in how inaccurate they are compared to real dinosaurs, while in full JP merch and surrounded by JP plushies. However, he would absolutely LOVE the D-Rex. That little freak of nature would become Bilbo’s muse, and he would be a D-Rex Sympathizer
Thorin would be more focused on analyzing the characters themselves. Maybe pointing out the forced dialogue or good moments he likes that show more about the characters. He would also be adamant about the ridiculous things they survived, and would proudly explain to Bilbo how these things would NOT have worked.
The rest of the company hates watching movies with them because they don’t shut up, but they love watching movies with each other for the same reason.
