the taking a minute fic (buck presumed dead) just hit 100 comment threads today and I just am having SO MANY FEELINGS ABOUT IT, that is so many people who loved my silly little words enough to actively sit down and tell me about it (well 99 of them + the one person just there to hate on lucy but that was so funny that I am still counting the comment xDDD)

I have no words for how much I appreciate my comments, but if you ever left a comment on my writing (be it on ao3 or in the tags on my post or as an ask or as a private message) know that I cherish EVERY SINGLE WORD so so so much and whenever I have a bad day I go back and reread them and cry a little, I love you all so much for it, THANK YOU, you’re what keeps me writing 💕💕💕💕

james gets his nose broken really badly during a quidditch match in 5th year.  it’s during a match with slytherin, and he gets cracked right in the face with a bludger.  he’s not too far off the ground when it happens, thankfully, because he falls off his broom.  madam pomfrey says he’s lucky it didn’t kill him, and james ends up with a scar across the top of his nose bridge.
