it’s so crazy how warrior cats went from “starclan is a mystical unseen force that may or may not even exist and if it does exist only a select few can receive, much less interpret, their cryptic prophecies” to “the wrath of god starclan will kill your unborn children if you do not follow their arbitrary rules at all times”

#warriors was so so so much better when starclan was more ambiguous. time and time again we see them bring extraordinary #suffering upon the living cats for violating their made-up rules and yet they’re supposed to be wise? okay #the narrative constantly presents starclan as an overbearing and even actively malevolent force but the characters never reach that #conclusion + the ones that do are portrayed as bad guys. maybe this could be cool if the authors could write unreliable narrators but they #absolutely cannot #katherine speaks #warrior cats

My friend’s FiL passed last year. Cancer. MiL diagnosed with same days before he went. She just went in for some treatment and her house was burgled.
