My first finished painting of 2026. Tried to stay within a planned color scheme. Wanted to post this on May 1st but some finishing touches were needed. I’m happy with it now so here it is.

Sunny thoughts under a crooked moon. 18x24. Acrylic and mixed media on canvas. 2026.

Originally a Halloween painting that took so long for me to finish that it’s now a New Year’s painting. I loved the sketch it’s based off but colors are a pain for me. Regardless of the subject I keep going to blue and purple are my weakness. Ugh. It’s my first canvas painting as well. Not doing that again.

It’s a new year and I would like to thank you for all of the likes, reblogs and for following me. On my main blog thank you for putting up with my need to reblog all of your great content. It’s really your fault. Lol
