are you staying home from work/school? yes, unfortunately all my classes are gonna be online for the rest of the semester :( I’m actually gonna miss seeing everyone and doing hands-on work in class a lot, because it’s quite difficult for me to focus when everything is on zoom or just on a screen oof

are you a homebody? tbh if this had happened any other year I wouldn’t have been too fazed (at least if I still was able to go outside n stuff) but right now is the worst timing, all I wanna do is be with my friends here and travelling/doing stuff rn 

an event you were looking forward to that got canceled? hsfsdkhfds my trip to amsterdam, my trip to oslo/cph/stockholm, my biology field work, the big hike in bergen, and these haven’t officially been cancelled but probably 17mai parties and a concert in june I was really looking forward to :( [sorry this sounds super whiny and complainy but it’s just been sad boi hours and I’m a lil in denial still tbh]

what's your dream job?

this job lowkey doesn’t exist BUT it would be a wildlife biologist / photographer / journalist for NatGeo and get to travel around the world taking pictures and doing science!! for now I’m pretty flexible about my future™, but basically working towards becoming a wildlife/conservation biologist focused on arctic regions! I know I want to work outside so I’m aiming to do field work of some sort. I don’t really care a ton about making #bank so as long as I can sustain myself comfortably I would be cool with anything I think?

I’m really interested in animal behaviour and population-level biology, and I’m really passionate about arctic environments just because it’s such a fragile and important ecosystem (plus I love the cold!!). especially with how much devastation is being caused by global warming i.e. sea ice melt. also I just think arctic wildlife is SUPER cool like they’re adapted to live in such a harsh unforgiving environment with very little food and darkness for half the year??

tl;dr I want to do biological fieldwork/research on arctic wildlife (specifically behaviour)! where I get to be outside and take photos on the side :-)
