MAYBE. Here’s the deal

Your partner, when not commanded to make use of a special move, will do a biasedly random one of three basic attacks.

The first partner you have is a Speed Lizard. He likes Speed style attacks.

Goddamn nothing worth fighting in the beginning area that you can just walk around and smack to practice the battle system is weak to Speed. So he gets his ass handed to him in the Rock-Paper-Scissors system.

It’s not a hard game, especially with that in mind, but like... plz let me use my human brain to use strategy Capcom
