Every time I watch Peggy punch the lights out of Vernon I remember that post (was it Arwen? Could’ve been someone else) who described it as Daniel making four grabs at Peggy, unsuccessfully, before jack hauls her up like a naughty cat

It’s almost like Jack learnt to lie from Peggy. Play up others’ impression of you to get your way. If they think you’re a ditzy woman, use that to conveniently misplace stuff. If they think you’re a power-hungry snake, use that to gain the upper hand over your manipulator.

I do love the way Jack plays Vernon. Like after almost the entire season of him getting played, I do love that he starts learning to use his lying power in his own favour.

yea no i tried so hard not to jd on main this rewatch but the little chat after vernon lets them out of the cell just did it for me. i miss them so much.
