Brad has competed at memory competitions around the world since 2009. In 2012 he received two bronze medals at one competition in the United States. At both the 2013 and 2014 World Memory Championships, he set a new American record for memorizing spoken numbers. In 2015 at the World Memory Championships in China, he was Team USA's co-captain as they won the silver medal.
