@acagoldsmith oh I had said that poofed gems were safe from the corruption. Did I mention that Lapis was safe only because she was in the mirror? I don’t remember typing that.

Tom raised his head from the potion’s book he had been reading before he fell asleep, and gave a deep breath looking around. The only light in the bedroom was coming from the street and there was something he was not grasping. Someone kicked his locked door calling his name, telling him to hurry up and remember the emergency plan, and in that moment he became aware of the sirens roaring trough the city with their warning. The Germans were coming. Putting on the warmest jacket he owned and his wand on his pocket, he run in to the nursery and pulled one toddler from his bed and a baby from his crib, barely balancing the two on his 14 year old frame, trying to ignore the small wet hand on his neck. He rushed to the front door as fast as he could, and waited, looking anxious to the ceiling that did not let him see the airplanes flying over the city. But he did not need to see them to know how close they were. A small hand grabbed the fabric of his trousers and the child looked up at him, tears rolling down her cheeks. “Are we going to be alright Tom?” She asked. “Of course.” He said, trying to rock the baby on his arm that was starting to cry. They were lucky, they had an underground station almost at the door of the orphanage, and it was easy to take everyone there. The next day came and it was safe to leave and go back, but there was nothing to go back to. The orphanage had burned. Tom stood in front of the ruins, a baby sleeping in his arms, a girl hugging his leg, a feeling of loss for his books and his school robes. They had almost died. He had almost died, and he was not even sure why. Tom touched his wand through his jacket, he was not some ordinary Muggle, he was a wizard, and there should be a way to prevent death. There should be a way to live forever and he was going to find it.
I guess this was inspired by a post by you, @acagoldsmith. Thank you.
I just wanted to tell you that your art is absolutely stunning and amazing! Your use of color and form is brilliant, and so realistic that it jumps right out of the screen! Some of your work definitely deserves more Notes!

You're very sweet and it's always a treat to see what interesting things you've reblogged! Have a nice long rest this evening, you've earned it. ;3;
Thanks guys, I really appreciate it <3 I feel a bit better now that I’ve rested and eaten, hopefully tomorrow will be better. Thank you!
(sorry for repost, wrong tab before) Hey there! Do you still do art requests? If so, what kind requests do you accept?
Hey there! Yes, art requests are indefinitely open for the moment. I generally prefer to draw things I’m familiar with, i.e. Sherlock Holmes, Doctor Who, Pokemon, or Hannibal, but I don’t have a limit on what content I accept. Someone the other day asked for a merlady ripping apart a fish xD
The one condition I do have is that it be SFW, but otherwise I’m happy to be surprised with any request :)
Do you still do gifset requests?
No, sorry I don’t have time for requests now.
I noticed the other Tumblrite who gave you the information about "Guardians of Ga'Hoole" mentioned the series as "currently being 23 books". Just to clarify, the series was completed by author Kathryn Lasky in 2013, and currently has 15 books, including "The Legends of Ga'Hoole" trilogy. There is also a spin-off series called "Wolves of the Beyond", focusing on the dire wolves of the Ga'Hoole universe, that currently includes 6 books.
Gotcha. I’ll be sure to check out the books, too! I only planned on the movie, but let’s see. Thanks for the info!
