Hi, yes, I did. Literally the day I decided to come back onto tumblr I get the news and am freaking out.
Honestly, most of my thoughts are surprise because I really thought they weren't gonna expand on RSA and end the story here, but I guess not 😭. To be fair though, with the anime attracting new fans, I guess it makes sense they would want to keep going with the story.
My thoughts though, are that i'm so curious on how they're going to go about the story for RSA. If they keep up the current pattern with the different episodes, book 8 would probably be like 300+ episodes long, which would definitely be enough time to introduce the cast for RSA and flesh out a story for each one considering that, up to book 5, all the dorms only need like 20-90 episodes for their stories. So, maybe twst could actually end at either book 8 or book 9.
But, i'd be so curious on how each character acts honestly! Because NRC is known as the stereotypical villain school while RSA is the goody two shoes princely school. Like, it's impossible that everyone there is an extroverted happy go getter (Idia's number 1 nightmare), but they still have to keep the general viewed as the "good guys" right?? Or maybe nottt.
Oughh i'm so curious on if RSA is actually what NRC has been feeding us the whole time :0000. Like, that can't be the case!!
I do wonder though if they're going to confine the entirety of the RSA plot line to book 8 or if they want to give them their separate books. A part of me doubts that though, because they'd probably have to ditch NRC for that to work but they can't!! Ughh but i'm so excited!!! (Extremely doubtful but imagine the overblots for their wardens. Like, the expected good princes becoming overwhelmed and crashing out is interesting. But, also seemingly going to be impossible froma storyline perspective 🥹)
Honestly, i'm excited for all of them! But For the most part, i'm excited about specifically Rielle, Neige, and the seemingly Jasmine or Alice based character!!
For the most part though, my biggest excitement??? Figuring out how to characterize them for writing (❁ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)◞. I need to write about the princely types (or not!) instead of the evil men at NRC </333. Ahhhh i;m so excited!!!
