Overlooking Some Kitchen Utensils
The most wonderful foods are not served by bare hands, it acquired its characteristics from the kitchen utensils the cook had used. Pots and pans and other kitchen utensils are one of our mother’s best friend inside the kitchen and as a family friend they should be treated well. If you are a food enthusiast or a person who loves to cook, you would definitely have a humungous collection of kitchenwares and it require heavy maintenance such as cleaning and maintaining their shine and luster (for stainless steel ones). They have almost a great resemblance to our being as it served food for us since ages.
Leaving a messed up kitchen is not a good image for you, so you must maintain and retain whatever kitchen appliances and utensils you have.
For Wooden Utensils
These helpers are very delicate to maintain, as wood is very fragile and brittle thing to have in your kitchen. However, some professional cooks still use wood as their main tools to retain such flavor in their dishes. Warm water with soap would fix it, just use damp cloth when wiping away those leftover oils. Do not try to put them in dishwashers because of its brittleness they might crack easily.
For Stainless Steel Utensils
Nowadays, modern kitchen utensils are made of stainless steel for easy washing and maintenance, not mentioning it is so durable and used by most Butlers. A great substitute for wooden ones, however, they still rust if treated inappropriately.
Any water with soaps will do, however calcium deposits may threaten the luster of stainless steel utensils. Using fragrant dishwashers will also help to effectively deodorize it as metal doesn't keep of the smell. Rub them with damp cloth before putting into a room temperature storage.
Ammonia must not be used on pots and pans because they cause damage and cracks on the surface, resulting into poor quality of work.
For Plastics
With its light weight properties, plastics are considered one of the most used material on earth. Well, in kitchen that is a different story.
Hot water with a pint of dish washing liquid should do the job. It also eliminates the odors, plastic absorbed on the job.
