We've reached the episode (March 2005) where I feel that Happy Hour really starts to hit its' stride. Featured shorts include the first episodes of popular Happy Hour characters Leatherface and Jason, some unrelated wacky bathroom antics, and a story about a certain man (Matt Brailey) who realizes that not paying his continuity bill can cause alarmingly dire consequences!
Here's Happy Hour, Episode 2! These very early episodes of the show are mostly consisted of the video projects that we were making for our classes in high school, which explains the "educational" theme to most of them. This one includes cloning politics, a re-enactment of World War I, and a weird documentary about fish. Fun!!
March 2013 marks the 10th anniversary of Happy Hour (our old public access series in Tucson), so I've got a big surprise planned! For the first time in the show's history, all 13 episodes (plus specials!) will be available online, on Vimeo! I'll be posting each episode in order every other day throughout March. So to get things started, here it is: March 2003's very rarely-seen first episode of HAPPY HOUR... in all of its' crude, choppy, pre-Youtube, Standard Definition video cassette glory! There is some pretty embarrassing stuff in here. But hey, we were all 18 so that should be excuse enough. So strap yourselves in and prepare to watch a level of quality that only the magical world of public access can bring you!
