I’ve been living on Long Beach Island, NJ for almost two months now and there are a few key differences here to where I normally live in VA.

For starters every house is lotted 100 feet apart so this side of the block is approximately 30 houses all crammed together like a can of sardines.

Another is all these people are rich af Trumpets, lawyers, traders, doctors, all in these multi-million dollar McMansions with very little representation for the working class.

So I get a little sick satisfaction every morning drinking my coffee, listening to leftist news out on the front porch, watching everyone walk past on the street scowling the moment they realize what they’re hearing.

I bought my little brother assassins creed for christmas for a number of reasons (more interesting than his pile of sports games and less outrageously violent than a lot of things)

but one of them was that I was hoping he might accidentally learn a little bit of history/culture/etc

and he just remarked to me that Islamic architecture that he saw in his world geography class reminded him of the buildings in the game
