Ginny Weasley volunteers in the corrupt prison in the hopes of improving the conditions of the prisoners, most of those wrongfully put there. She finds a new arrival, a man in the middle of his rut and so she helps him out, against her better judgement. Chapter 3: Breakout

 Harry groaned as he moved his body out of the position it had been for the majority of the last three days. “Are you crazy?” He rose to his full height.

“Yes, I thought we established that.” She locked eyes with him. “Now, do you want to get out of here or get hanged instead?”

He breathed in her scent and he hissed, teeth clenching.

“I need you to focus,” she told him firmly. “I’ll take care of your rut when we get out of here but we need to get out of here safely.”

Chapter 2: Fate

To say Harry was present in her dreams that night was an understatement. She tossed and turned and every time she fell asleep, she saw him. Not in prison but alongside her in the garden enjoying the sun, cleaned up and relaxed chatting away with her. Then another where he was completely naked—her imagination really created a masterpiece of a body— inviting her to go with him.

It’s the sort of dreams grandmother Prewett would have claimed were about fated mates if she were still alive. It left Ginny feeling untethered and against her better judgement she wanted to visit him again. She wasn’t sure if she was still welcome to visit the prison, but that never stopped her before.

Chapter 1: Chains

She walked to the next room and was shocked to find a man sitting on the stone floor with his hands shackled to the wall, unable to lie down or move into any other position. He was gagged with what looked like a muzzle. She had never seen such a scene.

When she approached the bars, his gaze snapped to her. Erratic and scared and a piercing green. He strained against his shackles. She escaped the room again, not because she was scared, but because she wondered what kind of behaviour would warrant such extreme measures.

She walked back to the list. This one must be Harry. She looked around but there was no guard in sight. She figured she could simply ask him. It’s not like he could do much with his hands shackled.
