It wasn't like Hope thought of himself as a religious person. hell, he didn't even know if his parents followed religion--why would they raise him to be that way? But when he found himself in a moment of weakness without anyone to lean on, he turned towards the church in the center of Bodhum. Hope went there in the middle of the week a lot, and usually he just ended up falling asleep in the center of the raised platform, the three idols representing the deities of his world staring down at him as he dreamed of his mother's death. This time, though, when he stepped into the church, he was rather surprised to find that someone else was already there before him.
