hi! saw ur post of your shots of paris in october and went through your tumblr hehe i'm going to paris next month, what are nice places to go that not a lot of people go to? any advice for first time touring paris? <3 i'm kristen btw! 8^)
Hey Kristen! Thanks for the message. Anyone first time going to Paris, the best advice is just to walk everywhere! There’s so much to see, there’s a beautiful piece of architecture round every corner! In terms of places to go - I recc a walk around the Jardin de Luxembourg - a beautiful very Parisian park. Also, the Pere Lachaise cemetery. Seems weird to rec a graveyard, but google it and you’ll see what I mean - it’s a maze of old Victorian graves, a miniature city itself. Not many tourists go, but there’s plenty of famous people buried there (including Oscar Wilde) For an underrated museum, especially in the spring, I say the Musee de Rodin. It’s set in beautiful romantic grounds, in a beautiful building, not to mention the beautiful art, and people miss it because the entrance is pretty nondescript.
