An accidentally Au.
-There are technically two accursed. the first is Ardyn the second was a young man who befriended the healer and helped him before they were betrayed Prompto Argentum.
-Prompto befriended the king over 2000 years ago, he ent with his friend to help heal people. Prompto noticed Ardyn starting to suffer from taking so many daemons himself so he offered to take some of the daemons from Ardyn if it meant lessening his friend’s pain. Neither at the time knew the consequence of this simple gesture.
- both are betrayed and executed only then learning what they had become.
-both were angry and began planning against the kingdom and gods.
- Unlike Ardyn Prompto slowly changes his mind, he starts to love watching the world grow and change. this made Ardyn angry since he thought they deserved revenge. Prompto rejects and leaves his old friend to watch the world.
-20 years ago he watches as Noctis is born, he feels that this would be the one to end him and ardyn once and for all. he can’t help but smile knowing soon he would be able to rest.
- He watches Noct grow up and decides he wants to help the young prince so he fakes some papers getting into Noct’s highschool to become his friend.
-it back fires, he ends up falling for the prince as does Noct fall for him. He keeps what he really is a secret from Noct.
-The arranged marriage is made and events start to play out.
-when the group meets with Ardyn in gauldin, Prmpto can only glare knowing what Ardn is up to as his old friend acts like he doesn’t know who he.
-Prompto is revealed during a hunt when his head is cutoff. the group morns his death but are horrified when Prompto regenerates his daemon form showing thus this image.
-Prompto tells the group everything a head of time after revealed to be this.

Some more Accursed!au. Ardyn and prompto as they were before things went wrong. Ardyn still dressed horribly and Prompto worse clothes with a bit more movement and matched Ardyn some since he would be his crownsguard/kingsglaive though they were friends.
