I feel like you underestimate my boy Rafayel's musical abilities, haha. He was a professional opera singer, trained an orchestra (of seagulls that refused to leave his house), and has multiple references to musical instruments in his stories, including exotic ones.
and that's entirely fair! i will admit, when i was writing these headcanons i was basing COMPLETELY off of vibes alone with no regard to actual canon. this was mainly because these hc's were for my friend when i first wrote them and i didn't have any plans to post them anywhere, but alas, things change and tumblr pulls me back by the neck
if we're basing off canon, there's no doubt that raf is the most musically inclined because he has the most canon references to music, which include professional experience. he's, as you've said anon, professionally trained in opera singing (which is a feat all on it's own) and a noted multi-instrumentalist. the only music refs i can think of with the other li's is zayne learning kalimba and sylus with his bad karaoke and minimal piano/organ(? i dont quite remember) playing
but again, all of my hcs are in good fun and have no bearing on how other people perceive the li's! pick and choose what you want to believe from my posts and have fun with it! <3
