incredibly stoned and have at least temporarily reach a state of complete peace about the thing that was upsetting me earlier that i was venting about. came to the conclusion that while the feelings i was having were not necessarily fair to anyone and were probably coming from a case of unrealistic expectations, i'm still not a bad person for feeling that way, because i can't control the emotion itself. what i can control are the actions i take in response to it. i can't choose not to feel something, but i can choose to not act on that feeling in an unkind way. i'm not always good at it but i'm getting better the more i try and i think in this particular instance maybe i got it

i wonder about the logistics of vampires dying in the sun sometime. it's clearly something special about the sun, considering that other stars don't do it, but it's only direct sunlight, because the reflected light from the moon doesn't do it. is it the uv exposure? the real question i had was can a vampire go in a tanning bed or would that kill them too but i felt like i couldn't ask that without explaining a bit
