This is my newest selfship (and the one I'll be exploring more this October), featuring Casey Jones from 2012 TMNT

My s/i for this ship is Ace, who is new to April and Casey's school (this is set in their senior year, so the three of them are 17/18). They sort of know April from being assigned her as a partner for a project, but otherwise they are very reclusive. April considers them as one of her few actually human friends, and had been planning to introduce them to Casey, until this happened.

Ace gets over it pretty quickly though, much to April's relief

(((The river clan poiem thing intrigued me so I descided to try my hanmd at it. Though it turned out terrible in my opinnion, but that can be bedcause it’s late and I haven’t slept well in a few days. I hope it doesn’t kill any brasin cells haha)))

Days 2-4 of YumeTober!!

Date night- Ace and Casey in some diner (probably right after Casey's hockey practice) eating pizza and just chatting and enjoying each other's company

Fireplace- The duo in their vigilante gear taking a moment to warm themselves up using a trash can fire they stumbled upon

Sick day- Casey is dying (he has a cold) and demanding affection (a kiss) while Ace is masked up and annoyed at his antics (they hate getting sick and wont risk it lmao)

Theres a few things that come to mind actually! Their laugh, their dork ass smile, and the way they tap on stuff when they're excited, it's all very Ace/Kei :3

Ohhoho I would totally give them my signature skull makeup! They'd look so badass!

Uhhhh mac and cheese probably. They showed me how to make it fancy (bread crumbs and everything!!) and I don't really know how to cook much else

Hii Jelly!!! I meant to respond to this earlier, but I got busy with life stuff. In addition to that, my sister finally got me to watch Stranger Things, and now there is a potential new f/o on the horizon (yet again lmao)

skeleton: has your f/o ever entrusted you with a well-kept secret?

Casey: To be fair, Casey doesn't have many well-kept secrets to begin with, because he's awful at keeping secrets. However, the existence of his journal is his best kept secret.

Mettaton: Yes! His best kept secret is that before he was the Underground's biggest celebrity, he was a ghost. He likes to gloss over his origins most of the time but did eventually entrust this secret to his partners.

gnome: would you consider your f/o to be a hard worker?

Casey: Depends on what he's doing. Schoolwork? Not a chance. Building a bunch of weapons and vigilante gear? He is dedication itself.

Mettaton: Most definitely. Even though he was the first, and so far only, celebrity in the Underground, he still had to work hard to convince folks to work for him and get his resort built. Now he's just coasting on his fame and money

witch: is your f/o the studious type, or more adventurous in their learning?

Casey: Not studious in the slightest lmao. When he does want to learn something, he either learns through messing with it until he understands, or gets Donnie to explain it to him

Mettaton: Definitely adventurous. A lot of things he learns is through videos or movies

demon: which of the seven deadly sins does your f/o mainly embody?

Casey: I think it would be a tie between pride and envy. Pride because of how self-confident he can be and envy because of how jealous he gets (especially in the actual show)

Mettaton: Greed 100%. Not just for wealth, but for praise, attention, and fans

After coloring all of page 1, I decided to keep the colors minimal for this comic. I might do the same thing for Sonder too, because this simpler style is much easier to draw, and it's all I have energy for at the moment.

Hello Jelly!! These are new questions dont worry 💖 (also I probably would've still answered just with a new f/o if they were repeats lol)

Because I have been very TMNT brained this month, I'll be answering these with Casey and Donnie.

🖊: what is your f/o’s handwriting like?

Casey's handwriting is surprisingly neat. He was made to practice cursive in elementary + middle school so he still uses it often.

Donnie's handwriting is borderline illegible, sometimes even he can't make it out. He's used to jotting down quick notes so handwriting has never been much of a concern. However, if he takes his time and puts in the effort, his handwriting can be really neat.

🍝: do you go out/get take-out often?

Fast food runs are pretty much a weekly event for me and Casey, even before we started formally dating. It's a fun way to spend time together, even if it's probably the reason we're consistently broke 💔

Donnie takes me out on fewer, but much fancier dates. Since he's very particular with the kind of foods he likes, there is a set list of restaurants we go to (trying new ones is rare but still fun). Almost all of them are in the hidden city since he's a mutant.

DIE TRYING - a 2012 TMNT AU

A canon x oc story

ALRIGHT! Aside from my ROTTMNT AU comic Sonder, I've also been scripting this 2012 TMNT AU comic, which after much brainstorming, I've titled "Die Trying". It's gonna be a silly goofy comic that I'll update on alternate months with Sonder.

One of the biggest things about this AU (aside from the introduction of an oc, as per most of my AUs) is that April and Casey are a little older, being juniors and then seniors in high school rather than the same age as the turtles (17/18 instead of 15/16). This is mainly going to affect how their school life is portrayed and how the relationship between Donnie and April is portrayed. My biggest issue with the main series has always been how Donnie's crush on April is handled, so obviously I'm going to change some things there. However, I will probably be keeping some of the related plot points because I think they can still be useful and interesting when viewed through a different context.

ANYWAY my askbox is always open for questions about AU stuff, I will update this specific comic on Saturdays probably
