@aceiinspacee Screenshotting and pasting the screencaps into a new post, cuz I don't like how Tumblr formats submissions into looking like OP's own post not from the submitter fgjdkf

Yeah I'm basically echoing your sentiments here gfhdjksd That is indeed a much more mature, much more genuine response to the discomfort Sarah Harper's words caused! Sure wish it came from the actual person who made people uncomfortable! 👁️👁️
It's really reassuring to hear from another person on the L/MK team, especially given how Ashe is a storyboard director themself and on a similar level within the team to Sarah Harper. I'm glad the L//MK team is taking responsibility for the hurt and discomfort they caused and are being so upfront about condemning such behavior, both within their team and within the L/MK community at large. I took a quick look at Ashe's twitter and yeah I'm really glad to see how they were receptive to another Chinese fan's perspective on the situation. Also appreciate how they didn't brand this as "discourse" and instead treated the hurt caused by the Nezha situation with legitimate weight and concern. Ashe really handled this situation maturely and responsibly.
That all being said, personally I still don't feel like I can look at L/MK or L/MK Nezha the same way :/ I really wish it was Sarah Harper who issued the proper apology because Harper was the one who sparked all this in the first place and still managed to brush it off like something silly and not worth the time of day. Ashe may have spoken out but, while they have power within the team, that's nothing to say about whether Sarah Harper's intentions (or the intentions of anyone else in the team we're currently unaware of) will truly change when that responsibility hasn't been taken by themselves. Like, even if Sarah Harper's intentions didn't truly change under the surface if Harper was made to give a proper apology, at least there would feel like there was some level of true accountability in the situation. Just knowing someone on the L//MK team, especially someone as high up and with as much creative control/power as Sarah Harper, was thinking about and talking about Nezha in such a way at all grosses me out and will change the context of how he's presented in the show to me. And that goes tenfold when the response to such discomfort was met with near ridicule with "Twas just a joke I swearz xD -runs away forever- [pikachu crying gif]." And I doubt that recontextualization of L/MK Nezha will ever go away for me, especially when Sarah Harper hasn't properly taken the steps to apologize :/
