For each “⭐️” I get, I’ll write a headcanon about our muses.
Jess loves her dad’s taste in music, she has a collection of old records and CDs of songs he used to play for her as a kid that constantly serve as background music when she’s away from him. Whether it’s listening to them while she cleans her apartment, in the car or on an ipod while on break. She loves the feeling of warmth and nostalgia that comes with hearing those songs.
Jess has a lot of tense feelings when it comes to her grandparents and her mother. Not because of anything her Dad did or said, but because of things done and said to him. She was a smart, and sensitive kid, with a tendency toward clingy and needy behaviors. With her mother walking out, she tended to hover around her dad a lot and picked up on small things like social tensions very really on and that sort of developed an “us against them” mentality that she hasn’t really been able to shrug off. Jess doesn’t like to talk about her mother, and when the topic comes up always seems to deviate it back to how awesome her dad is.
Things got hard for Jess after losing her first patient, despite being able to stay on top of school work fairly easily there was a couple month stretch were she would avoid going to her residence all together. And spent time at home alone in her apartment, building models and taking apart whatever she could get her hands on until the point she was constantly surrounded by scrap metal. Without her dad’s help, the situation might have turned out differently than it did.
