yknow tho, the funniest part of this whole thing about my aro headcanons earning me a manifesto against 'em in the main tag (badge of honor moment btw, my aro analysis made someone so mad they had to bust out all the stops on me (ps: i still read them as arospec because thats how at least one of them is coded)), the funniest part? NONE of my trans headcanons are getting shot down even though they have infinitely less basis and are infinitely more "source: i made it the fuck up" in general. ya'll just don't fucking like aro's in fandom when they aren't quiet little things that are willingly trampled and never share out their readings with evidence to back 'em up and refuse to drop the aro part in the sake of an obvious "love story," eh?

everyone got the blorbo where you'd really love to go "i think theyre a psychopath/sociopath" but if you do everyones gonna reblog the post bashing the shit out of them assuming you meant it in an insulting ableist way and not in a no they'd get diagnosed with it clinically if they talked to a professional way

there's a lot of characters out there who would benefit from genderfluidity, bigenderism, agenderism, and so much more, but a concerning amount of you view being transgender as a binary thing with zero thought put into the nuances of non-binarity so we're all just stuck in hell while you argue about whether they're transfem or transmasc when so many other modalities and understanding's of gender are right there

"kris is textually tma—" that is a non-binary character with more pronoun citations than words i could be damned to waste on your exorsexist ass

kinda hate that the only way for an aro headcanon or canon character to be seen as aro is that it has to be entirely aro, there is no room for demiromanticism or grayromanticism or lithromanticism, the character is either fully aro or theyre obviously just alloro and a little bit odd, duh— really hate that

the one issue that all fandoms share is a rampant overpopulation of alloro's with zero reading comprehension who have to force a strict dichotomy of trad romance or Just Friends™ onto every single duo in existence

everyone is allowed to do whatever they forever obviously but also it really is easy to go. hey. where are your aroallo headcanons. where are your non-binary headcanons. where are your transmasc headcanons. where are your alloace headcanons. where are your transfem headcanons. hey. why do you think all of these characters are the exact same when they are fundamentally different characters with vastly differing themes, motifs, drives, and backstories.
