Happy Late International Ace Day! :D
Take a slice, guys ☺️
Every time someone says Avatrice isn’t real because they only had one kiss I want to scream and punch a wall. How did we as a society come up with the belief that to show you love you need to have sex? Wtf?!There are 5(!) love languages and there are so many ways to show people you love them (and asexuals do exist too, hello!) But everyone just wants to see two people fucking on screen? What about their feelings? What about character development? Avatrice had EVERYTHING but sex and people think it’s not enough. Some people really need to revaluate their values.
Any other show is like this. This is something that attracts more views (I guess) so literally any other show has sex scenes. And then we have one (1!) show that doesn’t and people are going crazy about it.
I would really like to make a statistic of how many wlw couples have intimate scenes (I’m pretty sure 99% do - I’m taking about canons here) and in which episode of the show it happens. Again I’m pretty sure that it’s in the beginning for almost all of them (No hate, I watch lots all shows and this absolutely doesn’t affect the quality - but I’m just so tired of people only focusing on that and not the plot/story).
Stop making everything about sex. This show has greater things to offer.
I'm in Australia so I'm technically a day late, but nonetheless.
Happy Asexuality Day 🖤🤍💜
I love you all 💕💕

I don’t know you but
Do you know all thos “bro” posts? Like: Bro... you have beautiful eyes... no homo... oh, we’re making out! But no homo bro... bro..”
I’m thirsty for all those kind of posts and if you have them tell me cuz i need them.
Also, totally out of nowhere, imma ask: ace pals, how are you feeling today? Cuz you are amazing and never forget you deserve validation and love :)
Unless you’re someone who says that pineapple belongs to pizza, in that case, y’ain’t got my love, just my validation.

Except why is it a “scare tactic” to be leery of people who are actively against sex being around people who are oppressed in part for the kind of sex they have? Maybe it’s just on here, but I’ve seen enough “eww icky PDAs” posts by people who don’t realize how homophobic that can be to be worried about the effects it makes.
Also, I’ve read the blogs of people who are anti-ace automatically being queer. I’ve stopped because I agree with them less and less about, well, basically everything, but a lot of them do seem to have been pushed out of local queer groups because of an increase of ace activity in them. Maybe that’s all in their heads and maybe they should have said something and not just left, but, though I disagree with what they’re saying, I do empathize with the feeling of being left out.
