Small art dump! Made a moth OC based on Valentino and an achemon sphinx (making him my second sphinx OC) and then immediately lost interest in him so he may or may not go UFO on my TH we’ll see 😭
And then Chaos cuz it’s one of my favorite OC’s and I don’t draw it enough

Absolutely the highlight of my day was finding this freshly emerged Achemon sphinx moth. There's about half an hour between the first two pics, you can see how much their wings plumped up!
They spent the day basking in the sun, and then disappeared later to hopefully live their best moth life.
The caterpillars eat Virginia creeper or wild grape leaves; I have both coming up wild in my pollinator friendly garden. Days like this really make me feel good about our disheveled, lovely garden, and I'm grateful for the chance to visit this moth all day. 😭
