Pardon my messy deck, but I had to post these pictures of Achimenes ‘Rainbow Warrior’ blooming.

(Also don’t look too closely at anything or you’ll see bite marks in it from one of at least four different rodent species currently mauling my outdoor plants.)

Achimenes Cettoana Sith Warrior 25 Years Old

At 16 years old Achimenes was travelling with her father on a freighter that was attacked by pirates. The freighter sustained heavy casualties, her father being fatally wounded and she sustaining such heavy injuries she had to have parts of her replaced with cybernetics, and even now there is scarring. There was, however, a silver lining: she took this as an opportunity to transition, as Achimenes was assigned male at birth.

Not long after, Achimenes was found to be force sensitive, and when she was sent off for training, she took it as an opportunity to leave her old identity behind her and forge a new one.

I'm going to dig out and replant my achimenes rhizomes. Last year I bought five rhizomes in total. I hope I get at least ten this year.

Today I planted seeds to prepare for summer. I planted garlic, onions, tomatoes and marigolds.

I also planted my achimenes seeds that I pollinated last year. The seeds were so small it was almost like brown dust. I really hope they germinate.
