Carnival Time || Platinum & Touko

     ♔ - } “I can’t believe we’re here! We’re actually here and we might see the gorgeous Elesa herself!” Platinum giggled while she skipped along the walkway, just finally coming from Castelia City for a small trip to see one of Elesa’s fashion shows. She has always dreamed of arriving in the city, hoping to get some tips of fashion to perhaps help her with her future shows at contests.      Behind her was both her Lucario and Luxray. The Lucario just shook his head as he watched his trainer get excited; meanwhile the Luxray looked bored out of its mind, not showing any care of its surroundings.      < “Platinum, we’re wondering where we are headed. I thought you said that the fashion show doesn’t start till tomorrow?” > Lucario asked within Platinum’s head, using telepathy. Once asking this, the Luxray glanced over to his trainer, finally looking interested in something.      The raven haired trainer paused in her tracks before turning around on her heels to face her two companions with a wide smile plastered onto her face. “It’s a surprise~ I’m sure you’ll both enjoy it.” With that, she turned right back around and continued on her way, now humming a tune she just made up. This answer caused both Pokemon to glance at one another, confusion written all over their faces before Lucario finally spoke up once more.      < “Then perhaps a hint? What else is here that could get you excited and make you think that we might enjoy it as well?” >      Platinum just tsked in response to the question. “If you insist on knowing, then fine.” She laughed. “I just thought that everyone on the team has been doing so many things and hardly had any time to just sit back and relax and even had some fun. Well, before I go to the fashion show tomorrow (and maybe meet Elesa herself!), I remembered that this city was also known for something fun for everyone.” There was a paused, purposefully placed to hear her Pokemon’s reaction.      < “...And?” >      The trainer shook her head again as she stopped in her tracks once more, placing her hands on her hips proudly. She stared ahead, as if she had just reclaimed territory of some sort. “This. This is what I wanted to surprise you guys with.”      Both the Lucario and the Luxray stopped beside her, looked in the direction she was facing and stared in silence and in awe. Before them was a sea of rides and games one would see at a carnival. What really shocked them the most (how did they miss it?) was the large ferris wheel, spinning slowly and yet gracefully in a circle.       “Now, I’ll let you two decide what you would like to do first---”      < “Ferris wheel!” > The Pokemon screamed in her head, obviously excited like a little Riolu. The Luxray didn’t seem to like the idea of getting up high, but he will stay near his trainer through anything. Platinum chuckled at the quick response before nodding. “Very well, then lets get in line and get some tickets so we can get on as soon as possible.” Her eyes scanned the area of busy people, hoping to catch sight of a sign or any indicator that there was a ticket seller nearby, if any. Perhaps she should have gotten a map when they first arrived the city. Grunting in disbelief, she headed over to a random person/trainer, hoping to get an answer she is hoping for.

     “Excuse me, but do you happen to know where I could get some tickets for the ferris wheel?” Her tone was calm, yet perhaps a bit too hurried.

Aaand here's Hilda! I was wondering if it would be okay if I used her Japanese name. If not, I can run back and change it!

It’s definitely all right to use the Japanese names for the protagonists!  We’re glad to have you in our group, too!  So make like a bee and buzz off—it’s time to bloom new friendships!
