So I finally got around to getting a newer version of Acid to do some of my multi-track editing. There was nothing wrong with the old one I was using, but it didn’t have a few useful features, and there was a nearly half-second delay in the MIDI recording that made it entirely useless to try and record anything real-time. So I figured I’d give the new software a good test run. With nothing other than a few free instrument VSTs (all from DSK Music. One of the better free VST creators I’ve found out there.) and about half an hour spent noodling around on the keyboard. I made this little test run. Maybe when I start doing more soundtrack writing prompts, I’ll include some epic fantasy themed stuff too.
