Ace was pacing outside of the headquarters - he had a habit of wondering off to think as of late. With the events of Meteor G and his recovery, it was difficult to find some time alone.
Munching on a Mega-Snack, Ace was oblivious to the boy approaching him. It was only until he heard the other’s voice that he turned around, scampering to regain his composure.
“O-Oh - Hey!” He replied, kneeling down slowly. “Sorry for not noticing you! But yeah, I work here… Do you need some help?”
He swore the boy looked… familiar - perhaps Subaru had mentioned something about him in the past?
"Yeah... it's about something I got a little while back." He'd nodded politely as soon as he was acknowledged and soon began reaching into the yellow pack at his side. "I knew it'd be safe to ask here because Subaru told me about how he'd been here before."
After a moment, the boy produced his blue Wave Scanner- he hadn't had the funds to get a Hunter-VG like everyone else- and flipped it on. On its screen was the ID issued by the Satella Police for everyone in the Transcode project.
"...This... was I supposed to come to you about it?"
