So I was going through my mail and found a Christmas bonus check I never cashed.
Guys. This was a check for a job I quit last March. So about a year ago now. They STILL gave me a Christmas bonus for this (2017) year.
Wow that's so nice, like I don't even work there anymore... I need to call their HR since I can't seem to find my tax docs from them (hence me ripping through all my old mail) so I'll be able to thank them then but like wow, that was an extra $400 I wasn't expecting.
It makes me a bit sad that things didn't work out with them since they're generally a good place but I just didn't jive well with my department. Also a lack of maturity on my part but well, I like think I'm getting much better about that.
