An Unexpected Encounter [Hikaru/Sousuke]
It was late in the afternoon and Hikaru had just finished all of his homework assignments. “Finally done!”, he said letting out a sigh of relief as he closed his books. He got up from his chair
He made his way through the dorm halls, they weren't as busy as they usually are earlier in the day so the tranquility of it felt nice to Hikaru after a long stressful afternoon of doing homework.
When he had finally got outside the first thing that came to his mind was; “Ah~ It's such a beautiful evening. The sun's almost going down and the weather is perfect, not too hot and not too cold.” he thought as he admired his surroundings, everyone appeared to be enjoying this evening as much as him.
As he continued to walk around the courtyard he muttered to himself, “Man, working too much makes me thirsty..” he frowned as his stomach grumbled, “..a snack wouldn't be so bad either.” And so Hikaru walked towards the vending machines, where he saw some kid kneeling down, which Hikaru automatically thought he was reaching out to get his snack, so he didn't give much importance to it.
When he got to the vending machines, he noticed that same kid was still there and it looked like he was having trouble with the machine, it appeared as if his drink was stuck or if the machine had swallowed the coin. He couldn't tell.
Hikaru stared at the kid for a moment. “Hey uh.. everything alright there?”
That kid was Sousuke! Hikaru immediately recognized him as he looked up to answer him. Even though they had never spoken before, he had seen him around in his first period class.
