Like Butterfly, so Quick to die
In this video, I’m demonstrating the audio-reactive capabilities of ACMX2 (acidcam-gpu). Everything you see is being generated in real-time, leveraging over 900 custom CUDA kernels written in C++ to transform audio frequencies into raw, glitch-driven visual art. ACMX2 uses a high-performance GPU pipeline to map audio amplitude and frequency data directly to shader parameters. This creates a living, breathing visual experience that doesn't just sit on top of the music but is physically driven by it.
A Personal Note: On a more personal side, you might notice I’m a bit slower with my speech in this video. A while back, I was in a coma, and I’ve had to work incredibly hard to learn how to speak all over again. It’s a process, and some days are easier than others, but getting back into the code and sharing these projects with you is a huge part of my recovery. I appreciate your patience and support as I find my voice again, both literally and through the software I build.
