I like how the sunsets are just a little later this time of year, so that at 5:51 PM, the sun is just starting to set. It's nice. I like it when the sun sets later in the day. I'm sure that makes me very unusual and therefore special and better than most people, who probably (I assume, without asking) don't care one way or the other.

Sunday sunsets 😌🌸🌳

I didn't stand there snapping photos for hours of the sunset like I did for the sunrise, but I did get these two, at least, of the first sunset of the year.

I guess it's considered special somehow in Japan? I might have lived in Japan in the past, but this is one area where I'm blessedly ignorant and completely fine remaining that way.

This was one heck of a sunset! And an extremely weird cloud! If you stop and think about what the shape of this cloud must have been to cast this kind of a perfectly round shadow like this, given the angle of the sun, it’s even weirder! But also kind of incredible! I don’t usually see giant round shadows on the ground like this!
