How to save new custom designs from the portal to a slumber island when your main island code slots are full!
It’s a bummer that you can’t *directly* access the custom design portal from slumber islands. But there is a workaround that will allow you to download custom designs to your slumber islands without messing up your designs on your home island.
It’s a huge hassle, but probably not more of a hassle than making a rock garden. What do you think?

Two new things I just learned in ACNH:
1) Using wrapping paper to re-gift an item back to the original villager who gave it to you prevents their "doesn't this look familiar?" dialogue.
2) TVs predict the weather for the next day if you wanted to know if it'll rain, snow, etc.
⭐️ If you need Bells in ACNH, I’d recommend using a wetsuit and selling whatever you fish up! It doesn’t break any tools and you can find some pretty expensive specimens, like the Spider Crab which sells for ~9,200! ⭐️
little ways to enjoy new horizons more 🌿
- send your villagers postcards! i write to everyone about seasons changing, upcoming holidays, the weather, thank you notes, and whatever else while keeping their personality type in mind just for fun
- play at different times of the day. not only will you get more dialogue from your villagers, it creates a whole new atmosphere, like fishing in the middle of the night under the stars
- do things even if you’ve gotten all the available goodies! visit the roost for coffee, participate in bug-offs and fishing tourneys, play the holiday events, go to kk concerts, etc. try to enjoy them for the experience instead of the reward
- change your outfits up! put on some rain boots and grab an umbrella when the weather turns, pop on your shades and sun hat, bundle up in the snow, put on pjs late at night, dress up for birthday parties, the list goes on
- set casual gameplay goals, even if they’re silly. try to reach a 100m bells saved, complete the museum or every nook mile challenge, collect every gyroid in the game, trap every villager on your island with a pitfall seed, you name it!
- even if you don’t need bells, go fishing, bug hunting, or diving now and then. when you’re just playing and not grinding for anything in particular it can be really enjoyable and relaxing
- give your lesser used features a good run once in a while! spend some time walking through the museum, have a photo shoot at photopia, do a few random dream address visits, or whatever else you don’t do very often (if ever)
- take in and appreciate the little things. look for shooting stars or the northern lights on a clear night, bake cookies for your villagers on holidays, change out your door decoration seasonally, leave messages on the bulletin board, clap along to kapp’n and kk’s songs, watch the sun rise and set on the beach. your gameplay experience is ultimately up to you!

Some little builds from my island 😅 i think i wanna flatten the whole thing and start over. Any tips on making more "creative" builds? 🥺🥺
