I have three special stumps in town now!! Two hearts and a kitty. I’m supppper happy about them, and one has already given me a famous mushroom!! (sells for 16,000 at retail)

I didn’t wake him up with the megaphone or anything like that--I’ve already tried it, and he’d just wake up without a word. This way, I get to see him act like he totally knew I was coming. And I dunno, maybe he did! I can’t prove he didn’t! I just REALLY SUSPECT he didn’t.

I’ve tried meditation many times, but never gotten the hang of it. I could (and have, a couple of times) write many paragraphs about it, but the gist of it is that I don’t really get the most basic concepts of it. Even sitting on a stump doesn’t help. I sure do wish it did, though! That’d be great! Just sit on a stump and presto, I’m teleported to meditation station!
I wanted to just talk to Moe, but I accidentally clocked him with my net, instead. He woke up with a start, but then yawned sleepily and acted like all was well. I guess it was! He seems to think that this piece of solid wood is the perfect size for him and everything! Sometimes you just wanna sit on a flat piece of wood and take a nap!

Did I miss the first mushroom? Or did two mushrooms spawn in a single day? It’s possible that each of these two stumps spawned one, right? That’s a thing that can happen, I think...
