GUYS, LOOK! My gf @copypastus printed my favorite ACOTAR fanfic for our anniversary! A Court of Lies and Resurrection by @ashintheairlikesnow! It's made to look like the original paperbacks in style and appearance, same font and everything. They didn't have the embossing or quite the same format at the printing place, but the cover text is shiny and other than that it's fitting in perfectly. It's freaking AMAZING (like the fanfic deserves, it's seriously so good you guys).

Amarantha in A Court of Lies and Resurrection (by @ashintheairlikesnow ) ACTUALLY FEELS LIKE A VILLAIN.

This bitch doesn’t feel like a caricature of evil, she has a goal and she is so good at actually torturing everyone that you can’t help but feel like the original one is a Disney villain (from the 80s or something). Every time she shows up I can’t help but feel angry and wish someone would snap her neck already.

Hi there! A while ago I asked if I could bind A Court of Lies and Resurrection into a book, and I though you might like to see the result. I'm really happy with it, and again your writing is AMAZING!

Also, your fic has given me the headcanon that Tamlin is just. Short. Not that's he's slight or feminine exactly, but that he's short and stocky. And 5'3 or something. And people see him and go 'wait, can he really be high lord?' And then he turns into the Beast and they're like oh shit. I am a very short person and find this hilarious. Thoughts?

Oh wow! Oh it is bizarre to see the words like... on a page. In a book. Eeeeeeeeeeeeee-

And yes, my headcanon has always been that Tamlin, after being more of a hunter and military guy, is more muscular and stockier than the other High Lords and doesn't really fit in with their more lithe and willowy frames. Since the High Lords were meant as anthropomorphic representations of their Lands as much as persons in their own right, it makes sense to me that Tamlin would LOOK like a persistence hunter. Someone who doesn't sprint but who can run prey down. But that Feyre is also wildly malnourished and humans are generally shorter anyway so she doesn't notice or realize he is short compared to the other High Lords until later.

Day 6 of @tamlinweek - Dreams

"I never get to have a choice. I haven't had a choice in so long. Let me choose this."

"Then choose it when you wake up," Rhysand whispered, lips brushing his. He reached up, taking Tamlin's hand away from his neck, looking at the spiralled scars on the back of it. "Dreams are fickle, Spring, and so is time spent in your mind. This could just be a trauma reflection of what you've been forced to do. In which case, I am more corrupt than I thought, because I so badly want you." He tilted his head, kissing the inside of Tamlin's wrist, smiling at the other man's shuddering intake of breath. "Your dreams have you want things you never would awake. I won't take advantage of it, even though…"

"Even though what?"

Rhysand smiled at him. "Choose it when you wake up, my High Lord, and I'll know you mean it, that you really want it. That this isn't just your dream turning to mine."
