Rain
There was no telling how long it had been raining, seconds, minutes, hours. No one was on the streets and everything was dark but that didn’t keep you from seeing Claudia’s small figure standing in the middle of the street. Her once curly blond curls had lost their volume and clung to her face while her once dry sky blue sun dress clung to her wet skin. There was no telling how long she had been in the rain or even why. She stood completely still like a statue with her hands out in front of her to feel the rain fitting her hands and her face up turned to the sky.
What would poses her to stand out in the rain for so long? Was she okay? What was she doing?
Lucy was wandering through the streets looking for something to eat when she saw Claudia standing in the rain. The little vampire was soaked. Lucy rolled her eyes. She had only encountered the baby vampire a few times and the little girl was ruthless and quite naive at times. She ran over to her.
"You know little vampires shrivel up in the rain," she joked.

The moment she heard Lucy's words her head snapped down as if she had been woken from a dream. She blinked lightly before turning to gaze at her, her arms falling to her side only to wrap them around herself. She gazed at Lucy blankly as if her words were so ridicules she didn't understand them, though of course she did. She said not a word but had a questioned look on her face as if to ask Lucy what she was doing? Why she was there?
