Even if it was all a lie—and Nesta wasn’t entirely sure who was on the receiving end of Eris’s lies anymore—to dangle such a promise in front of Beron was a more dangerous game than attacking him outright.

thank you so much love ❤️❤️❤️ I’m so sorry it took so long, I’ve been so occupied by video game brain rot. Plus this last chapter’s plot twist…oof. It actually changed significantly over the course of writing this chapter and deviated from the outline quite a bit (I’ve had parts of this chapter written for legit a whole year, since even before some previous chapters). But this means we are getting to a big action soooo much sooner than planned and it actually feels really good and makes me look forward to the coming arc!!
