Across the entire series, there is a single reference to Nesta drinking on page. This is when Cassian forces a brandy into her hands after the Twin Raven attack and she downs it in one. Elain also presses a glass of wine into her hands on Solstice in ACOFAS, but there is no further mention to Nesta drinking it. Furthermore, there are many references to her past drinking in ACOSF, but at no point does she drink a single drop - nor does she express a desire to gamble, which is also how she ran up a debt, but was seemingly not an issue for the IC.

ACOTAR TIMELINES

Click for enlarged images. We know events occurred between the war and UtM like Cassian trapping Lanthys or seeing Bryaxis, but no information on dates. As you can see from the third picture, the bulk of ACOWAR occurs over a single month.

Okay, I tried to compile the dates we know, such as the war lasting 7 years and breaking out when Rhys is 25, and Mor's betrothal happening at 17.

We don't know exactly when Helion rescues the LoA, only that it happens within that 7 year span. At this point she has been married for nearly 2 decades, so she's not quite 40.

The truth is Eris was anything from a child to still in his mother's womb.

In conclusion, Cassian needs to build a bridge and get over it

Cassian is taken in around 8 years old, however he was with his mother until he was weaned and could walk which I didn't factor in as he would presumably be around 1 in mortal years - but what 1 year old can take care of himself??

Mor, although in the Hewn City until her engagement to Eris at 17, was able to travel to Illyria frequently and spent the night there unsupervised when she slept with Cassian.

Tarquin at only 82 spent a whopping 61% of his life Under the Mountain

We are told that the Archerons lost their money soon after their mother died which happened when Feyre was 8. This would mean that Nesta was 11. However, in ACOSF, when we find out our girl was groomed and seducing grown men (not a slay), she was 14 and attending a ball, so Feyre's memory is again not trustworthy.

SJM has slowed down her output which could be due to having children. The second looks a bit chaotic but it shows which editors have worked with SJM - thank you to this reddit post for the info. You can also see how their good reads ratings compare and the number of ratings each book has.
