before joining the wardens, arabella liked visiting the library to look at the maps of the various countries of thedas and read books pertaining to each country’s culture, economy, geography, etc. she also liked training with fergus and the guardsmen, walking the surrounding area with russel (her mabari), and sneaking smooches from ser gilmore.

Lana Lavellan hoards trinkets she finds (and possibly steals) from her adventures and has them all scattered about in her room. She's a sneaky little ferret and enjoys playing jokes on the other companions :D

arabella cousland keeps her family's sword in her possession during the blight. despite it's weak weapon status, it serves as her only link back to her deceased family and her lost brother.

5: Did your Warden want to become a Grey Warden?

arabella cousland always aspired to be something greater than lady cousland, so yes in some ways, but no because of the events that occurred the night she was taken to join the order. vylana mahariel was the only one of my wardens who absolutely did not want to become a warden. she didn’t really accept being a warden until their second major quest was completed. cania brosca was reluctant to leave her sister behind in the slums of orzammar, but in the back of her mind, she knew that she wanted nothing more than to leave the caste system and start her life differently, and joining the wardens was her way out. azthra aeducan was overjoyed to see duncan and the other wardens in the deep roads. i mean, HELLO, she was left there to die. she’s just happy she got out of there alive. and lastly, my little spring surana was excited to have the opportunity to join the wardens. she hated being cooped up, despite being close to the first enchanter. and with jowan’s dabbling in blood magic, she knew that she needed to learn more about the world that she was kept from.

19: What was your Warden’s first impression of Zevran?

(i’m going to answer this for my mahariel only because she romanced him kay)

vylana was insanely happy to encounter another elf that wasn't a servant or slave, but seeing as that elf had just tried to kill her, well, lets just say they didn't start off on the best foot. but she got close to him rather quickly, almost a little TOO quickly if you asked alistair.

♣ - What is one thing that they find embarrassing? (About them, others, things in general)

arabella: her breath in the morning, alistair's obsession with cheese (she grew to love it, or so he says), zevran's very descriptive suggestions of what positions she and alistair should try in bed next, and any time someone mentions that they heard she and alistair the night previous

vylana: the lewd comments zevran whispers in her ear when they walk side by side to their next destination, alistair's cooking, (previously) tamlen's inability to whistle, and when she moans in need from just one of zevran's touches to her skin

❄ -  Favorite season and why?

a: that would be fall. arabella loves watching the leaves change colors and litter the ground. as a child, she and her mabari, russel, would jump into the piles of leaves that the groundkeeper left over (and he, understandably, wasn't very happy about that).

v: vylana love love LOVES the summer. she's like a cat, in a way, loving to lay boneless in the sun for hours, just soaking up the heat's rays. swimming is also a definite plus.

☮ - Do they have an idol or someone they look up to?

a: as silly as it may sound, arabella looked up to (and still does, for the most part) her older brother, fergus. he's always pleased their parents, whether it be by his swordplay, humor, or , even when being a bit too forward. arabella constantly strives to please everyone (with some difficulty), and it's a thing that fergus was able to do with no effort at all.

v: during the blight, vylana had no one to look up to, seeing as she left those that she did look up to when she was forced from her clan. she looked up to many of the older hunters of their clan and, although she'd never readily admit it, ashalle. caring for a child that wasn't her own but treating vylana like she had birthed her herself astounded vylana when she was older. she hates that she never got to properly thank her surrogate mother for all that she did for her.

Name: bryce duncan theirin (i had to okay)

Gender: male

General Appearance: while bryce is almost an exact clone of alistair, he does have some of his mother’s traits. he has thick, wavy black hair, a trait blessed upon him by his mother’s side, freckles splattered all across his face and body, and light brown eyes.

Personality: seeing as he’s the first and only child to the king and queen of ferelden, bryce has a level of expectation that he must maintain at all times. he puts up a fairly good show for the rest of the nobles, too, but once they’re gone, his demeanor changes. back is the curious, awkward boy that his mother and father know and love. 

Special Talents: he’s particularly skilled at tripping over things.

Who they like better: he gets along well with both of his parents equally and likes them just the same.

Who they take after more: alistair

Personal Head canon: bryce doesn’t want to become king. after listening to leliana’s stories about the distant lands in thedas, he realizes that he wants to travel the world.
