I love her!
Despite having the ABILITY to invite every animal to my campsite, I’ve deliberately avoided doing so because of the way the game sometimes offers timed bonuses for inviting villagers when it introduces new ones. However, in this most recent instance, the game introduced six new villagers, and only gave bonuses for inviting four of them. I easily did so, and it made me decide to go ahead and invite a few new ones to the campsite from my backlog.
Isabelle showed up for #40 (Cheri was #41, though I didn’t get a picture of the number) to congratulate me and nothing else. Isabelle is kind of a disappointment in this game, to be honest.
“You know! Me, Cheri! Not to be confused with Cherry, who actually IS named like the fruit. I’m pretty close, though!”
A peppy and uchi animal talking about Mother’s Day.
I like the use of the phrase “had me” by Cheri, because it’s so much nicer than “gave birth to me.” That would be weird, right? People don’t normally use that phrase. They just say “had.” You “have” a baby. And, if the baby is great, you can feel accomplished for doing so.
Phoebe, meanwhile, has a lazy mother who makes crafts out of the shells that she is given by her daughter. Wait, though; that’s not lazy at all! It’s crafty and kind of neat! Phoebe should be more proud of her mother.
Cheri talking about her December. Apparently, she is planning on having more than five concerts next year, which is news to me. I always kind of figured most of the Peppy characters in this game were simply deluded.
