I've tried so many times on so many cookies to get wings and I've always gotten damn near everything but the wings in any cookie that had them. I can pull the 5 star item easier than wings somehow on multiple occasions! I was at a point where i wondered if I was just cursed or the game was somehow not giving wings at the rate it claimed

But today, on a whim, i used some of my earned leaf tickets to try my hand at lucky's cookie for the wings (tied for my fave wings with the ones from cherry's cookie, which lucky's are essentially a snazzed up recolor of anyway) figuring it'd just let me down like always....

I got a fortune saying something to the effect of "your greatest dream will come true"

And it was silver, same tier as the wings

I held my breath and...

I FINALLY GOT MY WINGS Y'ALL!!!!! I LOVE THEM THEY ARE THE ONLY THING WORTH TAKING MY BAT FRIENDS OFF FOR AHHHHHH!!!!

LEAF TICKET FORTUNE COOKIES

I’m doing a bit of research to test a theory I have, but I need input from all of you lovely AC mayors!

On the whole Leaf Ticket fortune cookie issue, and how most of us get duplicate after duplicate of the same. exact. items, or get everything EXCEPT the one thing we wanted, or something similar, what would you think about certain things being different?

These are the three questions (for now) I need some feedback on:

1. If LT fortune cookies were 25 LT instead of 50, would you buy more?

2. If there was an algorithm in place to where you purchase a pack of 5 LT cookies that made it so you could NOT get a duplicate of more than one item, would you be more inclined to buy the packs? (Ex: if you bought Flurry’s cookie, with this algorithm you could get the tree, the wings, the chimney cottage, the candle path, and another tree. [Bottom line: you’d be guaranteed at least 4 different items each time])

3. If the odds were set to where each time you opened an LT cookie, there was a far, far higher chance (for instance 80% chance of getting a new item) of you getting something you don’t yet have, would that entice you to buy more? It wouldn’t necessarily be a guarantee, but an example would be along the lines of (using Flurry’s cookie again) having the angelic robe, the beret, the tree, the candle bench, the village stage, and the wings, you’d have a 47.4% chance of getting the last 3 star item, a 30.6% chance of getting one of the last 4 star items, and a 27.5% chance of getting the 5 star item (boils down to 11.3% chance of getting a 3 star item you already have, and a 7.3% chance of getting a 4 star item you already have)
