Truthfully, I got every ladybug I needed in fairly short order for this event. That didn’t mean I stopped trying to get more, though, of course, because why on Earth would I do that? More ladybugs means more sharing means for friend powder and more flower seeds.
Still, despite this event seemingly being slightly more generous with the capture probabilities, stuff like this sometimes happens... one ladybug out of nine caught n a batch of twenty flowers. That’s definitely annoying no matter what.
I don’t think I’ve said it yet, though, so I’d like to take the opportunity to point out that I do think that the ladybugs are super cute.
I don’t know who this ひょう太郎 (Hyoutarou) is, but they dropped off twenty damn ladybugs in my garden last night, so that was something. I guess they just had a full day’s worth and saw that my garden was devoid of ladybugs?
I typically harvest all of my flowers as soon as they finish blooming and only leave three flowers alone, but for the final set of them at night, I pick up the ladybugs and leave all twenty until I’m ready to go to bed. I do that specifically so that people have a chance to drop off a bunch of ladybugs, but it rarely happens. It’s certainly never happened that one person shared twenty. Just kind of incredible.
